TREASURES our million dollar Child Care Center
Over the years, Smugglers' has been single-minded in its approach to providing exceptional family vacations. That's why we built our state-of-the-art child care center - TREASURES. We have created a wonderland for infants and toddlers that is more accessible and more convenient for parents. Most importantly, while your children frolic in this fully-licensed center, you can rest assured that we continue to care for them with the same dedication and professional staff that has always been here for your family.
TREASURES has some very special features for both kids and parents including air conditioning, giant fish tanks in every room, a multitude of age-appropriate toys, tiny toilets and small sinks, 5,400 square feet of indoor space, over 4,000 square feet of outdoor playground,
one-way mirror viewing for parents, and easy drop off and pick up.
At TREASURES your infants and toddlers are in good hands with our caring counselors. Many of the staff are trained in first aid, CPR, child development and behavior management. And, our child-to-caregiver ratio assures full attention and the best possible care. Entertaining your kids will be no challenge at all!
Nurturing, experienced caregivers soothe and entertain our tiniest guests. Young children play, nap and eat according to their individual schedules in our well-equipped baby room, and enjoy mountain breezes while swinging in our screened in porch.
Little Dippers - 17 months to 3 years
This active group enjoys plenty of playtime to experience the ball pit, dramatic play area, dolls, puzzles and books at their own pace. They participate in art activities and spend time outdoors engaging in sand and water play, exploring the play equipment, and running through the sprinkler on warm days.
Little Rascals - 3 to 7 years
This award-winning program will stimulate and encourage your child to make new friends, discover the world around them and have fun. Daily activities include nature walks, outdoor sand and water play, literature based art experiences and lots of time to play with costumes, trains and construction toys. The Rascals take mini hikes to the Nature Center, river and Village Reservoir.
September 5 - October 10, 2011. Open 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Monday - Friday for guests with Advance Child Care Reservations. Children are encouraged to arrive before 9:30 am to maximize their participation in morning activities. TREASURES is also open 9:00 am - 4:00 pm Columbus Day weekend, October 8-9.
$85 per child, per full day program. $60 per child per morning session. 50% OFF TREASURES Full Day or Morning Half-Day Programs for AutumnFest Guests. Advance reservations required on a space available basis. Lunch and snacks included. 50% cancellation fee within 24 hours for all of TREASURES' programs.
AutumnFest Children's Programs
Kids' Connection, is our AutumnFest Children's Program for children 6 weeks to 7 years and is also located at TREASURES Child Enrichment Center.
Columbus Day Weekend Kids' Night Out
If your Holiday Weekend plans include a romantic dinner or an evening out, we will be offering our Kids' Night Out program on Saturday, October 8th at TREASURES from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm, ages 6 weeks - 12 years. Kids enjoy dinner, ice cream party, fun activities and crafts with our caring staff.
Saturday evening, October 8th, 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. $30 per child (ages 4 - 11 years). 24-hour advance reservation required. 50% cancellation fee within 24 hours. Call 1-800-419-4615.
Evening Babysitting Services
Babysitting services in your home can also be arranged. Reservations for babysitting in your village home are taken daily 8:30 am - 4:00 pm at TREASURES, ext. 1180. 24 hours advance notice required.
