Club Ownership guarantees your family a lifetime of vacations.Club Ownership at Smugglers' provides a home away from home that you can look forward to forever at a four-season resort complete with unparalleled activities, recreation and facilities. Twenty-year recreational benefit packages include free lift tickets for skiing or snowboarding, free award-winning Summer children's camps, free tennis court time, Resort-wide discounts, special programs and VIP treatment.
You pay only for the time you use.
Inflation has pushed the cost of fully owned vacation homes past the reach of many families. Vacation rental costs also increase dramatically every year. Club Ownership is a practical way of owning your own condominium for those weeks of the year when you can use them, without the responsibility of more extensive ownership.
Club Ownership is deeded property.
Your family has all the rights and privileges of other property owners because ownership is conveyed by a fee simple warranty deed. As deeded property, your home is part of your estate, and will be passed along to your heirs.
Ownership offers many flexible options.
Because you are the fee simple owner, you may sell or rent your
week(s) as your needs change from year to year. You can swap your fixed week with another Owner by using the on-line Swap Column.
Costs are divided among all the Owners of the property.
By dividing costs among all owners, your maintenance, utilities, taxes and administration fees are a fraction of the total costs. Smugglers' Notch Management Company, Ltd., is currently responsible for all the management and maintenance of Resort properties. The association of owners in each building has the option of retaining Smugglers' as its managing agent or appointing another company. The management, housekeeping and maintenance of the property are assessed to all Owners. Actual costs and expenses are recorded and billed annually as an "ownership fee." This fee provides for the following services:

Prior to your arrival, your home will be completely cleaned and checked. If anything is found in need of repair, it will be fixed or replaced. If damage has occurred beyond normal wear and tear, the person responsible will be billed individually.
You can upgrade your Ownership.
If you wish to upgrade your ownership, you may be able to transfer the equity in your Club Home toward the purchase of another Vacation Home at Smugglers'.
You can exchange your vacation time with other resorts worldwide.
Club Ownership at Smugglers' means membership in RCI (Resort Condominiums International). This benefit entitles you to exchange your weeks for vacations at nearly 4,000 luxury resorts worldwide. Or, you may be able to exchange your week with RCI for another week at Smugglers'.
Fixed rate financing and low down payment.
You may obtain financing directly through Smugglers' Notch Management Company, Ltd. In addition, there is no prepayment penalty if you wish to prepay your loan or obtain other financing. And remember, interest payments may be available as a tax deduction. We provide this lending as an optional service for our Owners.
Smugglers' facilities & activities.
All Smugglers' facilities, activities and programs are available for your use (some at an additional charge) during your period of ownership and vary by season. Here's just a sampling of things to enjoy!
