Discover Food & Wine

A Columbus Day Weekend Celebration, October 9 - 12, 2009

> Discovering Food & Wine
> Trip Organizer Weekend
> Eco-Friendly Challenge
> Golf Challenge
Christopher Columbus was in search of new worlds and he vowed to his Queen that his ships would bring back treasures from his travels. The new lands he found came with foods, spices, and wines that he and his crew consumed and wished to bring back to Spain. Smugglers’ will recreate the courageous adventures of our forefathers of 500 years ago to celebrate the discovery of new foods, spices, and wines. Enjoy the tastings of many different samples and then bring your treasures back home after the event!

Our Resort's “Discover Food & Wine” evening will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009, over the Columbus Day holiday weekend. Smugglers’ will offer event-only pricing and also will package the event in 3-night vacation stays. Guests on overnight packages will receive tickets at check-in and day guests will be able to purchase event tickets at the Guest Services Desk.

"Discover Food & Wine" combines an array of food & wine vendors enhanced by an appetizer buffet in our Meeting House from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm.
