Mountain Explorers and fun activities for teens!

Teens take the challenge of the high ropes course and climbing wall. There are various mountain hikes and a fun hike to our mountain reservoir for swimming, "Walk the Plank", and more!
Plan your own itinerary from a menu of activities with scheduled times throughout the day:

Certain activities are run on certain days but there may be some re-scheduling based on weather. Schedules are posted at the Outer Limits Teen Center.
The above Mountain Explorer Programs are included for those children paid to be on the FamilyFest Vacation Package.

What should you wear?

Mountain Explorers Barbecue & Swim Party
Hike to Rum Runners' Hideaway for a swim party and hearty barbecue dinner with lots and lots of fix'ns. Gather 'round the bonfire to hang out and tell stories.
Ages 16-17. Wednesday, 4:30 pm gathering with a 5:00 pm departure, returning about 11:00 pm.
$29 per person.
Lights, Camera, Action! - Video Camp 101
Guided by a professional videographer, kids ages 10 - 17 will learn the fundamentals of videography as they explore the Resort and develop program story lines to document on film in this 4-day program.
"This camp is great fun," says Peter Ingvoldstad, director of Summer Fun University, which houses Smugglers' camps programs. "Last Summer the kids really got into developing programs and had a great time doing newscasts and spoofs of popular television shows." All this and fun at the pools, too!
The camp also provides participants with hands-on skills and an introduction to a possible future career. Kids will produce, tape, and edit their own video project while learning about camera operation, lighting, editing, animation, special effects, fades, wipes and transitions. All participants will produce a final project that will debut at the big screen Video Showcase Premiere during the FunMeister's Summer Showcase on Thursday evenings. They will receive their own copy of their work to take home as a special souvenir of their time at Smugglers'.
Monday - Thursday, 9:30 am - 4:00 pm. 4-day, Regular price $349 per person. FamilyFest guests take 25% OFF. All prices include lunch.
Golf Lessons & Clinics
Junior Intro to Golf — Open to ages 5 - 17. This clinic is an introduction to the sport with a focus on the fundamentals, golf etiquette, beginning to swing, the importance of safety and FUN!
Tuesday and Wednesday, 4:30 pm -5:30 pm. June 7 - September 7, 2009.
