Highlands Hill Community Description - Summer

Located on the east side of Smugglers' Notch Resort Village, the Highlands Hill Community is nestled into the woodlands between Morse Mountain and Mount Mansfield State Forest. This exclusive location features one-, two- and three-bedroom condominium homes in a variety of convenient locations. You can easily pick up our on-demand shuttle which will take you anywhere you wish to go in the Resort. Twenty-eight of these vacation homes (Trailside Executives) are three-bedroom, townhouse duplexes. These spacious floor plans give privacy to large families and may also be rented as two bedroom homes. However, as a three-bedroom home, there is a large master bedroom with spacious whirlpool.

Other locations in this setting boast well-appointed, condominium-style accommodations, including one-, two- and three-bedroom, fully equipped homes built between 1993 and 1998. Each home has all of the conveniences you would expect! Amenities include telephone voice mail messaging, sheets, blankets, towels, washer and dryer and a fully equipped kitchen including all pots and pans, dishware, glassware, microwave, dishwasher and most paper products. These homes all have fee-based wireless broadband internet connections as well as fee-based dial-up internet connections. Each home has a large living room with gas fireplace (some have wood-burning fireplaces, and we provide the firewood... you provide the kindling), dining area, outdoor balcony and several televisions with DVD or VCR and air conditioning in each bedroom. These homes have one, two or three full baths depending on the size of the home, and all feature a whirlpool bath off the master bedroom. The vacation homes are prepared for your arrival, and a mid-stay linen change is included for stays of more than 7 nights.

Shown above is Notchville Park, just a short stroll from your Highlands Hill vacation home.

The vacation homes (Aspens & Trailside Highlands) closest to the Morse Highlands spacious Lodge also have exclusive use of the Morse Highlands Community Center including year-round, outdoor heated swimming pool, exercise room, changing rooms and playground. The Mountain Laurels also features its own outdoor heated pool.

Summer brings you the convenience of using our hiking trail system for our self-guided, nature walks and hikes. Notchville Park with 3 pools, Lily Pad Walk, Twister Waterslide and Climbing Wall (to name a few) is one of our most popular Summer water playground venues and is just a quick walk or on-demand shuttle ride from any location at Highlands Hill. In Winter, this area is connected to our 30 km of cross-country trails and 20 km of dedicated, snowshoe trails.

Seasonally, this location is close to several of our most popular venues. During the Summer months, you are just a short walk or convenient, on-demand shuttle ride to our children's adventure programs and in Winter from the Morse Highlands Lift and Lodge where you can easily connect with Morse Mountain or drop your children off to meet their on-snow program guide. Just as easy, you can take a short walk or convenient shuttle ride toward the west, and you will be at the 'edge' of the Morse Liftline trail. Morse Mountain is your on-snow connection to the upper mountains, or the convenient, on-demand in-Resort shuttle service is available to take you any place you wish to go in The Village or to the base of Sterling and Madonna Mountains.
