June vacations at Smugglers' Notch Resort feature lowest rates and specialsVacationers visiting Smugglers’ Notch Resort in northern Vermont in June will enjoy the lowest rates of the Summer, a 50 percent discount on childcare and a special package celebrating Father’s Day.
For Summer 2009, Smugglers’ has rolled its pricing back five years for guests booking the Resort’s FamilyFest Vacation Package. With the pricing rollback, the June rates, traditionally the lowest of the Summer, offer great savings to families. The cost of a Smugglers’ FamilyFest vacation for a family of four could be as low as $628 for three days and three nights in a one bedroom mountainside condominium, as compared to $1065 at Summer 2008 rates.
For guests booking the FamilyFest package, from June 7-27, 2009, Smugglers’ offers 50 percent off child care at its million-dollar mountainside nursery Treasures. Fully licensed by the state of Vermont, Treasures accommodates children from 6 weeks to 3 years old under the watchful eyes of trained caregivers. The nursery features age appropriate toys, books and activities; an attached outdoor playground; giant fish tanks in every room; and one-way mirror viewing for parents wishing to do a quick check on their little ones.
Smugglers’ Father’s Day Celebration Package is available from June 19-27, 2009. In addition to the FamilyFest package inclusions outlined below, this package features a special gift for dads and granddads, a $100 gift certificate to the Resort’s sport shop. Families booking a vacation of the Father’s Day Celebration Package will enjoy a Vermont-style dinner, 50 percent off child care at Treasures, a Father’s Day breakfast buffet on a selected day, and an arrival gift from award-winning Cabot Cheese of Vermont.
Known for its extensive selection of family activities and beautiful location in the Green Mountains, this Summer Smugglers’ has added the FunZone Family Entertainment Center, with a wide selection of indoor attractions for all ages including climbing and bouncy inflatables such as a giant slide and obstacle course, plus a kids’ climbing wall, miniature golf and arcade games.
In addition to unlimited FunZone access, the FamilyFest package includes mountainside Resort lodging; daily award-winning all day children’s programs for ages 3-17; unlimited use of eight heated pools and four waterslides; daily guided walks and hikes; two teen centers; disc golf and mini golf; and use of the skate park. Family programs and entertainment also included in the package are bingo, dance parties, a family magic show, karaoke, and family movie nights. Adults will enjoy nightly entertainment as part of the package.
Budget-conscious vacationers will also appreciate the Resort’s Family Fun guarantee and flexible cancellation policy. Smugglers’ Family Fun Guarantee assures that if a guest participates in one of the Resort’s programs and doesn’t have fun, the cost of that particular program will be refunded. With the cancellation policy, deposits will be refunded on cancellations received seven days or more prior to a scheduled arrival. Within seven days, deposits will be applied to a future reservation within two years, offering flexibility to today’s busy and value-conscious travelers.
