Now in its fifth year, Discover Food & Wine offers a memorable evening of tastings over the Columbus Day holiday weekend.
This event during Vermont's legendary foliage season showcases the state's renowned specialty foods, from cheeses to chocolate to coffee and more. Wine tastings feature U.S. and international wines, plus a special selection from Vermont vineyards.
Guests can mingle with and learn from enthusiastic food and wine experts while savoring delicious products in a beautiful mountain setting. The Resort's Morse Mountain Grille will offer a selection of mouth-watering appetizers.
Individual tickets for Discover Food & Wine are priced at $29, which includes:
- Enjoyment of 12 wine tastings and a souvenir etched wine glass. Vermont vineyards represented include award-winning East Shore Vineyard, Boyden Valley Winery, Shelburne Vineyard, and Charlotte Village Winery.
- Unlimited samplings of Vermont's delicious specialty foods such as cheeses, chocolates, maple products, sauces and marinades, baked goods, and more. Delicious products include Boston Post Dairy's chevre spreads, Lake Champlain Chocolates, Grafton Cheese, gourmet Comfort Cookies, Vermont Butter & Cheese, Vermont Smoke & Cure smoked meats, maple goodies from Butternut Mountain Farm, Douglas Sweets shortbread, Midnight Goat Farm chevre and more. Green Mountain Coffee Roasters will offer brews for java fans.
- A selection of tempting appetizers prepared by the Resort's Morse Mountain Grille and chef Jonathan Gilman of Caroline's Fine Dining in Jericho, Vermont
- Entertainment by acclaimed jazz and blues performer Jenni Johnson
