Parks Smugglers' Notch Resort offers terrain parks for all levels of ability. On Madonna Mountain, the halfpipe is served by 500 watts of music power and a warming hut with vending machines for snacks.
On Sterling Mountain, Birch Run Terrain Park offers entry level and intermediate snowboarders and skiers the opportunity to test their skills when ready. The 1200-foot run covers two acres with three rails, two hits, and a halfpipe. The Zone on Sterling's Practice Slope features six hits and eight rails for expert riders.
Jib and Jump Park is a novice terrain park on the Log Jam Trail at Morse Highlands, and features plenty of space for rails and hits plus a beginner's halfpipe with 8-foot sides. Log Jam offers a wide trail and long run with snowmaking capability.
Lifts - The Terrain Parks are each served by a chairlift. Contests Slammin' Saturdays feature two high energy events - the Pipe Jams and Altitude Adjustment at The Zone.
Pipe Jams are 3 hours of freestyle competition with judging based on best moves and uniqueness of style. The Altitude Adjustment at The Zone is an open big air competition on Sterling Mountain's Practice Slope with music, prizes, and demos for intermediate to expert snowboarding levels. Prizes are distributed through a raffle system (not ranked) and include CDs, snowboard equipment, shirts, hats, and food products.
