The Scoop:
Smugglers’ Notch Resort offers the special AutumnFest Vacation Package combining lodging with inclusions of the Resort's renowned activities and amenities. Smugglers’ Resort Village condominiums are fully equipped for bed, bath and kitchen comfort. In addition to this ample homey lodging, AutumnFest includes use of the Resort’s pools, many family entertainment venues, daily guided hikes and walks for adults and lots of games such as tennis, volleyball, woodland mini-golf and Disc Golf. Unlimited use of the FunZone, an indoor games and entertainment center with climbing inflatables, is also included.
For young families, AutumnFest combines the appeal of relaxed family time with the attraction of experiencing Autumn in Vermont. For children ages 6 weeks to 7 years there is the Resort's TREASURES childcare facility, a comfortable home base where the children are well cared for daily while mom and dad take in the exciting colors, sounds and smells of a crisp New England Fall.
The child care program, called Kids’ Connection, offers full day and half day options that include a snack and lunch are available. Guests on the AutumnFest vacation package can add on Kids' Connection at a 50 percent discount on the regular pricing of $85 per full day and $45 per half day.
At TREASURES, little ones up to 16 months old can enjoy climbing structures, floor mats, spatial play and outing to playgrounds. Those from 17 months to 3 years old spend time in the playhouse listening to music, creating arts and crafts, singing and enjoying stories read aloud. Outside they can explore the adjacent playground. The older "seniors" spend their time in indoor craft activities, story time, interactive play, playground fun, and swimming.
AutumnFest and Kids' Connection are available from September 7 - October 12, 2009, the lowest rate period of the year. A sample package for two adults and two children in a one bedroom condominium for two nights is $310 for AutumnFest only, with Kids' Connection available at a discounted fee.
