For years Smugglers’ has been offering a Family Fun Guarantee. The Family Fun Guarantee assures families they will get high value for their vacation dollar because there is a financial warranty to back up the claim.
During the Summer, Smuggs offers a wide variety of programs, from award-winning kids' camps to adult adventures. If any member of the family participates in one of these Summer programs for two days or more and doesn't have fun, Smugglers' will refund the entire program portion of that family member's stay. It's as simple as that.

"Our decades in the hospitality business, our excellent and well-trained staff, Smuggs purpose-built facilities and inimitable programs — these are the backbone we justifiably rely on to deliver our Family Fun Guarantee."
One additional aspect of reassurance to families who want to travel to Smugglers' Notch Resort is Vermont’s reachability. Vermont offers a well-maintained infrastructure of Interstates and roadways, and driving them exposes the state’s authentic beauty and peacefulness along the way. Once families have arrived an in-resort shuttle system means they can park their car and forget it for the duration of their stay.
"Smugglers' liberal cancellation policy is another assurance," states Bob Mulcahy, president. "A fifty percent deposit is collected when a reservation is made, but should a family's plans change, deposits are fully refunded with a cancellation notice of seven days or more." For cancellations closer in than that, deposits will be fully credited to a future reservation within two years.
