What's New at Smugglers' Notch Vermont
Fall 2007
Highlights for Fall 2007
Smugglers' Expands Package Options for Fall Travelers - Fall is a lovely time to plan a getaway, and new vacation packages at Smugglers' Notch Resort focus on popular activities to offer travelers lodging and fun all in one. New packages include the Great Golf Escape, See Vermont and Beyond, Eco-Adventure, Creativity, Relaxation, and Adventure, which join the ever-popular AutumnFest for families. There's also a package for those who just want to enjoy a comfortable condominium at Smugglers' as a home base for Fall exploration, without using all of the amenities offered by the Resort.
AutumnFest Offers Fun for Kids and Private Time for Parents - The popular AutumnFest Package for families continues to be a bargain, with lodging at the lowest rates of the year and inclusions ranging from child care to daily family programs from September 3 to October 8, 2007. Smugglers' Fall kids' program offers five mornings and two afternoons of care for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years with lunch. Parents can hike, soak in the pool or venture to a local winery, the popular Church Street shopping and restaurant area in Burlington, or join other guests on a foliage tour.
Daily Afternoon Family Programs - Each afternoon the Family Ties program involves moms and dads and their offspring in nature exploration and arts and crafts with a different activity offered each day. Create a palatial sand castle in Sand Daze, or enjoy looking for treasures around the Resort during Smuggs Scavenger Hunt. Indoor pools, waterslides and miniature golf are always available for familes to enjoy together.
Smugglers' Continues Environmental Initiatives - In 2006, Smugglers' Notch Resort was designated a Vermont Business Environmental Leader in recognition of the Resort's efforts to promote sound environmental stewardship. The designation recognizes that Smugglers' has met rigorous standards in the areas of pollution prevention, regulatory compliance, and environmental management practices such as recycling. Several of our initiatives are incorporated into our programming. For example, this Fall, we'll continue hosting the Where Does the Water Go? Walk to introduce guests to stormwater control initiatives during a fun hike around the Resort, ending with a visit to the rain garden developed this Summer. |
