Dog Sled Adventures at Smuggs

On-Site Dog Sled AdventuresExperience the thrill of being transported by dog sled through the picturesque snow covered trails surrounding Smugglers’ Notch. Take in the spectacular winter scenery as you glide across our winter wonderland behind a powerful team of award winning sled dogs from Muddy Paws Dog Sled. You'll experience nature as explorers have for hundreds of years. As the team stretches out and attacks the trail ahead of them, you'll enjoy the ride of a lifetime. It's amazing to watch these high-drive dogs do what they were bred to do. Please dress warmly, no ski boots please. Meet at the Nordic Center 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time.
Tuesday - Saturday 4:00 pm, 4:45 pm, 5:30 pm, 6:15 pm, 7:00 pm, 7:45 pm, and 8:30 pm
Advance registration at the Guest Service Desk or Nordic Center Desk is required. One sled can accommodate 350 lbs. 2 guests per sled $150 per 45-minute experience, additional guest $20. Guests must be at least 2 years old.
Off-Site Dog Sled Adventures
In addition to our on-site dog sled adventures we’re pleased to offer off-site Dogsled tours through award winning Eden Mountain Dog Sledding. Experience the exhilaration of soaring through scenic meadows and pristine woodlands, led by an eager team of Alaskan Huskies. You'll have an experience that you'll find yourself revisiting in memory again and again.
