The season has started!

Wow what a great Opening Day! I had a great time skiing Smugglers’ Alley. It had great coverage and the groomers worked their magic last night to make it nice and smooth. It was also fantastic to see people that I have not seen since last season, but it felt just like yesterday. Today was a Smuggs Family Reunion!  “Hey how are you doing? Did you have a good summer? Looking forward to another great season? OH YEAH” were a few things heard today. We also had Sir Henry’s Learning Hill open with the Wonder Carpet operating. The smiles on the skiers and riders faces as they were able to learn to turn and stop were priceless. Tomorrow we plan to have the Sterling Lift and Sir Henry’s Magic Carpet operating with 8 trails open. 7 out of the 8 trails will be groomed for tomorrow including Smugglers’ Alley for a grand total of 20 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies with a chance of a few showers late morning and afternoon, chance of snow later in the day with temperatures between 35 and 43 degrees. The forecast is also calling for 1 to 3 inches of new snow Saturday night into Sunday. This weekend we are offering a full day lift ticket for 32 dollars with a donation of a non perishable food item.
