Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating. We received 3 inches of new snow today. We have 37 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 36 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Upper FIS, Smugglers’ Alley, and Snow Snake for a grand total of 138 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with temperatures between 23 and 39 degrees.

We have many events going on this weekend. Here is a list of the happenings:

Friday, March 2
Black Bear Tavern Après Sport Party – The location for Upper Mountain off-slope fun! Check out the expanded draft line-up featuring Goose Island. Beginning at 2:00 pm, Jammin’ Sam plays guitar and sings. It’s a great place to meet other riders and skiers and some of the locals. Ages 21 & older.

Saturday, March 3
Extreme Skiing Challenge – The Smugglers’ Notch Ski and Snowboard Club hosts this exciting event — an opportunity for junior and adult freeskiers to show their big mountain skiing on the most difficult terrain the East has to offer! The Extreme Skiing Challenge is IFSA Junior regional (U12), and Junior National (12-18) sanctioned event allowing Eastern skiers to garner ranking and seeding points in this competitive series. In addition, the Extreme Skiing Challenge is the 3rd stop on the Ski The East Freeride Tour.

FREE Family Fun Race – Who’s the fastest in your family? Find out on our timed race course sponsored by HearthStone Stoves! 11:00 am – 2:00 pm on Lower Madonna Liftline.

Black Bear Tavern Après Sport Party – The location for Upper Mountain off-slope action! Check out the expanded draft line-up featuring Goose Island. Beginning at 2:00 pm, Goodtime Charlie hosts with trivia, bar games, prizes, and music. It’s a great place to meet other riders and skiers and some of the locals. Ages 21 & older.

ON3P Demo Day — Since the beginning, we’ve believed we could build skis better, build them ourselves, and build them here in America. We’re skiers who founded a manufacturing company, not one who entered the game as an overfunded marketing business, focused on creating hype, then outsourcing our production. There’s no pride in skis we didn’t press, nor a personal stake in skis being sent off to be built by someone else. Above all else, we cherish the knowledge that we’ve created every aspect of the skis we take to the mountains and ski on our days off. There’s pride in what we do and without our craft, we’re just like the rest. But with it, we’re ON3P Skis
