The skiing and riding is just so good right now. I had a blast on Smugglers’ Alley this morning. It was not groomed last night and the new snow had been pushed into piles. I say piles instead of moguls because, they were just soft snow that I could go right through. I played in the woods some today too and found some nice untracked turns. We received 3 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours and 12 inches in the past 2 days. We are 100 percent open with top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with all 8 lifts operating and all 78 trails open.
Robin’s Run is open from the work road down to Freefall. 40 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Ruthie’s, Smugglers’ Alley, and Garden Path for a grand total of 152 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Tomorrow’s forecast is flurries and periods of snow with another 2 inches of accumulation possible with temperatures between 22 and 33 degrees. We could see up to 7 more inches of new snow by Sunday night.
