Weather permitting tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We now have 39 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 27 trails will be groomed for tomorrow for a grand total of 114 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 40 inches.

Currently it is partly sunny and 25 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 0 to 5 mph. Tonight’s forecast is calling for snow and mix precipitation with up to 4 inches of accumulation possible. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for a mix then rain becoming snow with 3 inches of accumulation possible and temperatures will be between 23 and 39 degrees.

Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 20 to 50 inches. 21 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Thomke’s, and Lower Morse Liftline for a grand total of 83 acres of freshly groomed terrain.

We are presently making snow on Midway and Curley’s Cutback. Our snowmakers will be moving to Sterling Mountain tonight. They plan to take full advantage of the cooler temperatures and light up Black Snake and the Practice Slope.

We have 65 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 22 trails have been groomed for today, including Garden Path, Thomke’s, and Upper Drifter for a grand total of 91 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Most trails are covered with natural snow, so be aware and ski or ride with care. Surface conditions are packed powder and powder with average base depths of 20 to 50 inches.

Last night we made snow on Lower FIS, Midway, Lower Madonna Liftline, and in front of the Base Lodge. We are presently making snow at the top of Morse, Midway, and Curley’s Cutback.
