Russ at the summit of Madonna Mountain
I would like you to meet 80+ ski member Russ Kinaman. Russ has been skiing for 64 years and has been in the ski industry quite a while. Russ was a ski patroller at Camelback Mountain Resort in the 60’s. He also was a ski patroller here at Smuggs in the 70’s, when Don Hamelin was the Ski Patrol Director. Russ told me that skiing has been a big part of his life and even his wife was a ski patroller at one time. Skiing continues to be a big part of his life with a goal of 60 days a season. Russ is on his 59th day of this season today. He plans to make tomorrow his 60th day and with deep base depths he plan to hit 70 days this season!
