Making Moves on Sir Henry’s!

Blowing snow on Sir Henry’s!

We’re making progress! I took a quick trip over to Sir Henry’s this afternoon and it’s looking good! If Mother Nature continues to cooperate we’re hoping to open it up on Friday.

And here’s some more good news – our new groomer arrived! It’s about to join the fleet and help carve some corduroy for the weekend.

Stay tuned for tomorrows weather from the hill and all things Smuggs!

Snow Whales Spotted!

Snowmaking has begun on Morse Mountain!

Today I spotted some solid snowmaking whales on Morse Mountain! As you can see, our diligent snowmaking team has been taking advantage of the cooler temps and getting it done. The grooming crew is on deck to fill the trails from top to bottom.

Now is the time to get your ski legs underneath you. It’s looking like there’s a week of blue skies and mid 30 temps a head of us.

Stay tuned for all on hill updates!

Snowmaking Symphony

Our Snowmakers are working around the clock to make the stuff that makes us happy! Snowguns were in action up and down Sterling Mountain this morning and will be throughout the day. Snowmaking Ops will soon move to the Village to prepare beginner terrain. And you couldn’t have snowmaking without grooming. Ski you soon!

Patrol and SSU get ready for a Milk Run Clinic. Ray says it’s “whole” milk because the snow is so creamy.
