The flat-down-flat box in Birch Run is awesome, and once we get some more snow in there, the hip can be re-constructed. Speaking of new snow, there’s a big nor’easter on the way (in case you’ve been living in a hole). Expect to ride sick pow Friday and Saturday. On a side note: when it snows a lot, the park isn’t always the best place to be. Get out and find some natural features to get creative on. All the new snowmaking in the last week has led to quite a few walls and lips on the sides of the groomers that tend to collect snow and make for great slashers. Start there and let your creativity take you away to a blissful state of shred.
