The Run Down

The Zone is Completed

Today was our first day that the ropes were dropped in The Zone. It will be in great condition tomorrow, offering four hits of his & her jumps. Birch Run and Playground were tuned up today along with Log Jam so all of the parks will be in great riding condition tomorrow. Still waiting for some more natural snow in Knights Revenge but other than that the parks are all finished! Don’t forget to come out on Friday night for the Rails for Ryan event which starts at 6:00 pm and goes until 8:00 pm.

Are there any jumps in the Zone?

I hope you clearly mark the his and hers jumps (whatever that means). I certainly wouldn’t want my daughter going off a boys jump. It could be potentially dangerous for her to think that she can anything a boy a can do. (note the sarcasm)

His and Her jumps have nothing to do with gender, it’s a term coined by terrain parks used to describe difficulty and size of the hit. Progression parks (which what the Zone is) offers smaller jumps to start off with, then larger jumps, so you can progress into more difficult jumps. No jump is specific to male’s or female’s so your daughter can go off any jump she pleases. Sorry for the confusion and hopefully this clears up any further questions you may have.

hmmmm….do guys & gals need different jumps?

The jumps in the Zone aren’t gender specific. It’s a term used to describe difficulty and size amongst two adjacent hits.
