Après Sport at the Black Bear Tavern The location for Upper Mountain off-slope action beginning at 2:00 pm! Goodtime Charlie hosts Saturdays with trivia, bar games, prizes, and music. Jammin’ Sam plays guitar and sings on Fridays and Sundays. It's a great place to meet other riders and skiers and some of the locals.
March 27th, 28th, & 29th après ski party giveaways will be sponsored by Pabst Blue Ribbon.

Saturday, March 28
SunCommon will be saluting 2015 with helpful hints to the skiers and riders at Smuggs with insight on how to save big on using solar energy to offset our carbon footprint. Learn how you can make a difference by converting your energy consumption to a solar array from industry experts. Give them a minute of your time and you’ll be rewarded with a complimentary drink coupon (up to $7 value) on this day. Better wear shades cause SunCommon will be shining bright!

AUTOMASTER CUSTOMER APPRECIATION DAY - The Automaster is the "Official Car Dealership" of Smugglers' Notch. The Automaster Customer Appreciation Day gives Automaster customers the opportunity to receive 50% off vouchers to ski or ride for the day.

Blast From the Past Race - The Smugglers' Notch Ski & Snowboard Club invites skiers (21 & over) to bash gates and relive their glory days with a qualifying GS course beginning at 9:30 am (two runs; best run of two) followed by a pro-style dual SL course for the top 16 men and the top 8 women. The equipment doesn't have to be "old," just the racers. Hamburger/hot dog barbecue and beverages included in the entry fee of $35. Registration takes place from 7:30 am - 9:00 am; inspection from 8:15 am - 9:15 am. Call 802-644-1177 for more information. It's the 21st year of Blast from the Past - come celebrate!

Maple Open House Weekend - Celebrate the sweet taste of maple syrup during this annual event, now in its tenth year, when sugarmakers open their doors to visitors with tours and an array of maple products for sale. Use Smugglers' as your home base to visit maple sugarhouses! For a listing of open sugarhouses all around the state visit vermontmaple.org

Maple Sugar Festival at the Boyden Valley Winery -
The Boyden Valley Winery will host a variety of family friendly activities from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm including sugar on snow, maple syrup sample tastings, demonstrations of maple sugaring with a traditional wood-fired evaporator, winery tours at 11:30 am and 1:00 pm (tours suitable for all ages). There will also be featured maple wines, liqueur, and Vermont Ice Hard Cider, and donuts with maple cream will be available at the sugar house while they last.

The Boyden Valley Winery is conveniently located at the junction of Routes 104 and 15 in Cambridge, just 7 miles from Smugglers' Notch! Free parking, no admission fee.

20th Annual BrewFest Part 2 - Sample the finest in craft beers, traditional favorites and ciders! Our Spring BrewFest highlights the season's lighter flavors. Featured breweries include Long Trail Brewing Company, Blue Point Brewing Company, Saranac Brewery, Lake Placid Brewery, Harpoon Brewery, Shock Top Brewing Company, Goose Island Brewery, Sam Adams Brewery, Switchback Brewing Company, Fiddlehead Brewery, 14th Star Brewing Company, Narragansett Brewery and Traveler Beer Company. Woodchuck Hard Cider, Boyden Ice Cider and Angry Orchard Cider will also be sampling.

A DJ spins the tunes and the Resort's Mountain Grille provides munchies. From 6:00 pm — 10:00 pm in the Meeting House. MapleFest Winter Carnival — The Village Courtyard will host the first annual MapleFest Winter Carnival from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Our MapleFest Winter Carnival will feature games, sugar on snow, and specialty food and beverage samplings. Live boiling demos will showcase the process of turning sap into syrup. You'll learn firsthand from Vermont maple producers about the different grades of syrup, equipment technology and the history associated with this springtime tradition. FREE admission! 3rd Annual Pond Skimming in the Zone Terrain Park! The event is free! Registration starts at 10:00 am at the Parking Lot 1 Yurt and the event starts at 12:00 noon. Prizes awarded for best costume and most spectacular landing! Spectators are welcome!

Chillin' 'n Grillin' Annual Tailgate Party - It's more than blue skies and long sunny afternoons that will bring skiers and riders together. Smuggs annual tailgate party is awarding over $2,500 in cash and prizes to winners of the following categories:
 • Best Overall Tailgate(Food/Flair/Festive/Fun)
 • Best Original Recipe (Main dish/Side dish/Drink)
 • Best Smuggs Themed Tailgate

CAMBRIDGE DAY - Hey neighbors, you're invited to enjoy a day of skiing and riding at Smuggs! Cambridge and Jeffersonville VT residents get FREE lift tickets, FREE equipment, and FREE group lessons* for ages 6 to adult - just show a valid ID showing your Cambridge or Jeff address.
*Please note that individuals interested in group lessons with our Snow Sport University pros must book 24 hours in advance by calling 1-800-523-2754.

Easter weekend fun continues! - Join us at the Gazebo at 3:00 pm for an Eggtastic Scaventer Hunt. The Bunny Hop dance party begins at 7:00 pm. Don't miss out on the hopping good time!

Sunday, April 5
Easter Summit Sunrise Service - On Easter Sunday, conditions permitting, the Sterling lift will transport attendees up the mountain free of charge to participate in a non-denominational service and Easter message by a local minister. Lift loading begins at 6:00 am and ends promptly at 6:30 am. No experience with riding the chairlift is necessary. Following the service, guests may ski or snowboard to the base area or ride the lift back down the mountain.

The service is held outdoors. All participants are advised to dress very warmly for the much cooler and windier conditions typically found on the mountaintop. If riding the lift round trip for the service, warm and waterproof boots are recommended. Be prepared to walk in the snow from the lift unloading station to the gathering spot about 200 yards away.

Parking is available in any of the resort's upper mountain lots. For information or questions regarding the service, please call 802-644-8572. The service will not take place in the event of inclement weather. Any changes to this event will be posted here.

Featuring Alpine Touring, Avalanche Training, demos, trade displays, and on mountain course treks presented by Marmot, Patagonia, Leki, Tecnica, Marker, and more. Bunco Night at the Boyden Barn - Calling all Bunco fans! The Cambridge Rotary sponsors a Bunco Night at the Barn at Boyden Farm from 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm. Enjoy a silent auction, prizes, raffle, and cash bar. $15 per person. Tickets available for purchase at the Cambridge Village Market, the Union Bank, Jack Corse Fuels, and the Varnum Library in Jeffersonville. The Barn at the Boyden Farm is located at the junction of Routes 104 and 15 in Cambridge.
