Tuesday, September 15th
Talk Like a Pirate Day at Smuggs! Our Friendly Pirate will be hosting a Pirate Day pARRRRty a bit ahead of the regularly scheduled Talk Like a Pirate Day! Join him in the Mountain Grille from 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm; visitors ARRRRR encouraged to wear pirate gARRRRb, and buckos of all ages are welcome! Prizes for the best dressed pirate and the best babbling buccaneer!
Saturday, December 5
21st annual BrewFest, Part 1 - Sample the finest in craft beers! Enjoy samples from Vermont's Long Trail, Fiddlehead, Zero Gravity, Kingdom, Queen City, Northshire, 14th Star, Switchback, Magic Hat and Drop-In breweries. Sam Adams, Shock Top, Blue Point, Goose Island, and Harpoon will also be sampling. And don't miss delicious hard ciders from Vermont's Citizen Cider and Woodchuck Cider and Ohio's Angry Orchard Cider!

A DJ spins the tunes and the Resort's Mountain Grille provides tasty munchies. From 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm in the Meeting House. Tickets are available at the door; $20 entry includes 8 samples and souvenir sampling glass. 21 and older, please. BrewFest group lodging packages are available for groups of 20 or more; please call 800-521-0536.

World's Largest Ski/Snowboard Lesson - For the first time, Smugglers' will be a part of this event, sponsored by the folks who bring National Learn To Ski and Snowboard Month to life in January. All over the country, participating resorts will organize a giant lesson at 10:00 am, with the goal of setting a new Guinness World Record for the most skiers learning to ski and snowboard at one time, and enticing newbies in a fun way to check out the sports!

SKI Magazine Reader Appreciation Day — Join us at Smugglers' Notch Resort for our SKI Magazine Reader Appreciation Day. SKI Magazine afternoon events at the Gazebo in Smugglers' Resort Village from 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm include scavenger hunts, games, bonfire, hot cocoa, and more! Plus you can enter to win a Smugglers' Notch getaway for four! Enjoy a special vacation offer when you stay 3 nights or more between February 1st and 8th!

FamilyFun Magazine Winter Carnival - Always a family favorite! FamilyFun Magazine teams up with Smugglers' for this special Winter Carnival on our Village Green featuring music and live entertainment plus face painting, games, a bonfire, giveaways and an outdoor barbeque. The festivities begin at 2:30 pm!

Bonfire, torchlight parade and fireworks - Join us for the fun as we light up the night sky with a bonfire, dramatic torchlight parade starring our Snow Sport University instructors, and fireworks against the backdrop of the Green Mountains! The Village Green offers a great vantage point for watching the action. 8:00 pm.
Sunday, March 6
Extreme Skiing Challenge - The Smugglers' Notch Ski and Snowboard Club will host the 2015 Smugglers' Notch Extreme Skiing Challenge an opportunity for junior and adult freeskiers to show their stuff on some of the most difficult terrain Smugglers' Notch has to offer! The course is planned for the Madonna headwall, an ungroomed steep with a double fall line descent filled with cliffs, bumps, trees, chutes, and stumps. Competitors will be judged on line, control, fluidity, technique and style.

As the competitors run the course on the headwall from just below Catwalk to just above Madonna midstation, the best seats in the house for watching the excitement will be on the Madonna summit lift. Spectators also can view from a roped off area at the Red Fox Glades near the finish area at the base of the Madonna headwall, easily accessed from midstation.

$45 entry fee (includes t-shirt) and $39 lift ticket available. The field will be capped at 100 competitors.

21st Annual BrewFest Part 2 - Sample the finest in craft beers, traditional favorites and ciders! Our Spring BrewFest highlights the season's lighter flavors. Featured breweries include Long Trail Brewing Company, Blue Point Brewing Company, Saranac Brewery, Lake Placid Brewery, Harpoon Brewery, Shock Top Brewing Company, Goose Island Brewery, Sam Adams Brewery, Switchback Brewing Company, Fiddlehead Brewery, 14th Star Brewing Company, Narragansett Brewery and Traveler Beer Company. Woodchuck Hard Cider, Boyden Ice Cider and Angry Orchard Cider will also be sampling.
