Sunday, April 1
Easter Summit Sunrise Service - On Easter Sunday the Sterling lift will transport attendees up the mountain free of charge to participate in a non-denominational service and Easter message by a local minister. Lift loading begins at 6:00 am and ends promptly at 6:30 am. No experience with riding the chairlift is necessary. Following the service, guests may ski or snowboard to the base area or ride the lift back down the mountain.
Please note: The service is held outdoors. All participants are advised to dress very warmly for the much cooler and windier conditions typically found on the mountaintop. If riding the lift round trip for the service, warm and waterproof boots are recommended. Be prepared to walk in the snow from the lift unloading station to the gathering spot about 200 yards away.
Parking is available in any of the resort's upper mountain lots. For information or questions regarding the service, please call 802-793-7095 or 802-644-8572. The service will not take place in the event of inclement weather. Any changes to this event will be posted here.
Black Bear Tavern Après Sport Party - The location for Upper Mountain off-slope fun! Check out the expanded draft line-up featuring Pabst Blue Ribbon. Beginning at 2:00 pm, Jammin' Sam plays guitar and sings. It's a great place to meet other riders and skiers and some of the locals.Ages 21 & older.

Black Bear Tavern Après Sport Party - The location for Upper Mountain off-slope fun! Check out the expanded draft line-up featuring Bud Light. Beginning at 2:00 pm, Jammin' Sam plays guitar and sings. It's a great place to meet other riders and skiers and some of the locals. Ages 21 & older.
Saturday, April 7
8th Annual Pond Skimming - Elvis, a gorilla, guys in bikinis — you’ll see it all in the Zone Terrain Park during pond skimming! Registration for this free event starts at 10:00 am in the Base Lodge and the first skimmer launches toward the pond at 12:00 noon. Prizes awarded for best costume. A “don’t miss” for spectators!
Chillin' & Grillin' Annual Tailgate Party - Blue skies, long sunny afternoons … ahhhh, Spring! Chillin’ & Grillin’ brings together our mountain community in a celebratory summit of the parking lot parties that go on all season long in Parking Lot 1. Awards of cash and prizes to winners of the following categories: best overall tailgate presentation with 4F technology (food, flair, festive, fun); best original recipe; and best Smuggs-themed tailgate.

Tuesday, April 10
Free Cone Day at Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream. Free Cone Day has been a beloved April tradition since the iconic ice cream company's first anniversary in 1979! Swing by the Smugglers' Ben & Jerry's Scoop Shop, 12:00 noon - 8:00 pm, or any other participating Scoop Shop during your Vermont visit and enjoy a free cone!

The ART of The Flying Pirate Circus
The Bryan Memorial Gallery hosts Rockin' Ron the Friendly Pirate as he reads from and discusses the making of his book The Flying Pirate Circus. Selected layout pages will be on display. He will be joined by his Book Designer Carrie Cook. Rockin' Ron and Carrie will also perform several songs from The Flying Pirate Circus album. The event is FREE and open to the public, 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Books and CDs will be available for purchase.

Kick off the Summer season and join Smugglers’ and the Jeffersonville/Cambridge Community in a long weekend event including:
Saturday, May 26 – Lamoille Valley Rail Trail Bike-a-thon. This fundraiser, benefitting the Vermont Veterans Place, Friends of the Lamoille Valley Rail Trail, and Cambridge Rotary, offers free participation when you sign up in advance to be sponsored by your friends and family. Select your choice of distance goals (8 miles, 16 miles, 32 miles) – followed by refreshments and entertainment. Sponsored by Smugglers’ Notch Resort and Lost Nation Brewery.
Sunday, May 27 – The Burlington City Marathon – viewing from various locations on the 26 mile route. Use Smugglers’ as your home base.
Guests staying at Smugglers’ Notch Resort will have complete use of the Courtside Pool, Mountainside Pool, the Ozone at FunZone 2.0, Mountain Bike Skills Park, Village 9 Disc Golf Course, and more!
