Winter Child Care 2016-2017
Fact Sheet on TREASURES Child Care Center
The family support offered at TREASURES Child Care Center is guided by the goal of providing a warm, caring environment for all children. Treasures' program is based upon the concept that young children should be active learners and develop at their own pace.
Child care is available by the hour, day, and for multi-day periods; reservations are required. TREASURES is open daily from 8:30 am until 4:00 pm. Children are grouped by age from 6 weeks to 3 years. Each age group has its own developmentally appropriate learning opportunities, activities, and materials.
Fireflies (ages 6 weeks - 16 months) Fireflies enjoy the indoor floor mats, climbing structures, and object and spatial play.
Little Dippers (ages 17 months - 2 1/2 years) This groups spends time together in our playhouse, listening to music, singing, arts and crafts, bubble chasing, storytelling, circle games, and quiet time.
Little Rascals (2 1/2 - 3 years) Inside these tykes enjoy circle time, singing, stories, arts and crafts, imaginative play and more. Outside they may go sledding or sliding. This program integrates many of the Discovery Camp activities for 3-5 year olds, but at a level appropriate for toddlers still in diapers.
Child care rates in the Winter are $85 for a full day that includes lunch (half day care from (:00 am - 1:00 pm is $60). Children may also enroll in TREASURES by the hour for up to four hours in the morning only (8:30 am - 12:30 pm; $20 per hour).
Little Rascals on Snow (2 1/2 - 3 years) Now in its sixth season is Little Rascals on Snow, a joint TREASURES-Snow Sport University program designed to introduce two and a half and young three year olds to skiing. A gentle fun instruction program combines with lunch, naps and playtime in TREASURES for a full day. The center has its own dedicated conveyor lift for the Little Rascals program. $129 per day, including equipment. (Weather permitting, this program runs from December 2, 2016 through April 2, 2017.)
A babysitting service is managed from TREASURES with approved sitters. The cost is $12 per hour for one child with a $1 per hour fee for each additional child, plus a $10 finders' fee.
TREASURES hosts a Kids' Night Out on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the Winter from 5:30 pm until 9:30 pm. This event is for youngsters aged 3-11 years old and includes dinner and age-grouped activities. The fee is $35 per child. Children must be potty trained.
Both of these programs require advance registration.
