Time to harvest the corn

It’s hard to get better spring conditions then what we had today. At 2:00 this afternoon it was 62 degrees at the summit of Sterling and 55 degrees at the summit of Madonna Mountain. Everything softened up and was just fantastic. I had a great time skiing the corny bumps on Upper FIS! It is so nice to have warm weather for closing weekend. Tomorrow’s forecast is mostly cloudy skies with a chance of a shower early then some more showers later but not starting until between 3:00 pm and 4:00 pm with temperatures between 57 and 69 degrees. 11 trails will be groomed for tomorrow that is 50 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Tomorrow we plan to have the Madonna 1 lift and Sterling lift operating with 37 trails open for intermediates and experts. Tomorrow morning we will have Sunrise Service at the summit of Sterling Mountain. The Sterling Lift will start loading at 6:00 amĀ and ends promptly at 6:30 am. Tomorrow is the last day of lift operations for the 2016 / 2017 Winter Season.
