Lifts and Trails

Tomorrow we plan to have 3 lifts operating, the Sterling Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider with 36 trails open. The Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift is now open for the season. We now have four more beginner trails open Garden Path, Lower Morse Liftline, Magic Learning Trail, and Wanderer. 12 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley and Thomke’s for a grand total of 50 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 16 to 48 inches. This weekend we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 4 lifts operating, the Madonna I Lift, the Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift with around 60 trails open.

Snowmaking

Today our snowmakers were busy on Meadowlark, Mulcahy’s Link, Lower FIS, and Lower Madonna Liftline.  Snowmaking will continue tonight and tomorrow on Lower FIS and Lower Madonna Liftline. Our snowmakers will also be concentrating on Midway for the next 24 hours, so it will be closed tomorrow for snowmaking.

Tonight’s forecast is calling for snow showers with 2 inches of accumulation possible. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for a chance of snow showers early then partly sunny skies later in the day with temperatures between 6 and 25 degrees.
