New Snow
We received 16 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours and 30 inches in the past 3 days! We could see another 3 inches of snowfall tonight.
Lifts and Trails
Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 7 lifts operating, including the Madonna I lift. We have 76 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Lower Rumrunner and Poacher’s Woods will be closed on Friday due to snowmaking. We are not making snow on Poacher’s, but it brings you to Lower Rumrunner. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with average base depths of 20 to 50 inches. 34 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, that’s a grand total of 138 acres of freshly groomed terrain.

Weather
Currently it is still snowing and 10 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 15 to 25 mph. Tonight’s forecast is snow up to 3 inches of accumulation possible. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for light snow 1″ of accumulation possible with temperatures between -4 and +5 degrees.
