We’ve got spring fever

Today was one of those days where it just kept getting better each run. The groomers did a wonderful job again last night on Upper FIS, Drifter, Shuttle, Snow Snake, and Smugglers’ Alley just to name a few trails. I started off on the groomed trails in the morning and by the afternoon I was skiing corn snow on ungroomed trails. Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 5 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 50 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are machine groomed and spring conditions with average base depths of 14 to 48 inches. 29 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Waterfall, Garden Path, and Snow Snake for a grand total of 121 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Some trails will have a delayed opening until they soften up. Currently, it is sunny and 45 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 61 degrees.
