Thursday: Snow. Temperature falling to around 20 degrees by 5 pm. The chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 4 to 8 inches possible.

Thursday Night: Snow likely, mainly before midnight, then a chance of snow showers after 2 am. Cloudy, with a low around 14 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Friday: A 30 percent chance of snow showers before 2 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 26 degrees. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

Today we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 4 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 27 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are spring conditions and machine groomed with base depths of 10 to 44 inches. 20 trails have been groomed for today, including Chilcoot, Rumrunner, Midway, Black Snake, Garden Path, and Mulcahy’s Link for a grand total of 97 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently, it is cloudy and 40 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for increasing clouds with a chance of light rain late in the day with a high of 59 degrees. Midway and Curley’s Cutback are both open. Meadowlark is only open from Curley’s Cutback. The top of Meadowlark is now closed.
