Birch Run Terrain Park opens tomorrow with 3 jumps and 2 rails.

Tomorrow we plan to have 5 lifts operating; Madonna II Lift, Sterling Lift, Village Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider. We now have 31 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 21 out of the 31 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Mulcahy’s Link, and Snow Snake for a grand total of 89 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 6 to 32 inches. Tonight we plan to resume snowmaking operations on McPherson’s, Playground, and Lower Madonna Liftline. Currently, it is cloudy and 26 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for the chance of light snow early then gradual clearing with a high of 17 degrees in the Village and 12 degrees at the summit of Sterling.
