Today we plan to have 5 lifts operating; Madonna II Lift, Sterling Lift, Village Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider. The Madonna I Lift will be closed today and tomorrow for snowmaking on Upper Chilcoot. We have 51 trails open today with terrain for all ability levels. We received 14 inches of new snow in the past 4 days and 99 inches this season so far. 24 out of the 51 trails have been groomed for today, including Smugglers’ Alley, Lower Chilcoot, and Howie’s Wanderer. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 12 to 42 inches. Currently, it is 1 degree at the summit of Sterling with partly cloudy skies and winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for partly sunny skies and breezy with a high of 10 degrees at the base. Temperatures will be falling throughout the day. Bundle up and enjoy the great conditions!
