The Long Trail

The Long Trail is the oldest long-distance hiking trail in the United States. This trail is 274 miles long. It spans the high peaks of the Green Mountains from the Massachusetts line to the Canadian border. The Long Trail goes over the top of Mount Mansfield, by the Sterling Pond, and over the top of Madonna Mountain.
