Smugglers' Notch Resort in Vermont fulfills families' summer vacation wish lists
Nestled in the heart of Vermont's spectacular Green Mountains, Smugglers' Notch Resort offers all of the ingredients for a family friendly summer vacation: plenty of family activities, award-winning children's programs, a convenient Resort Village, comfortable mountainside condominium lodging, and summer vacation packages in tune with families interests.
Family programs include plentiful opportunities for families to explore the natural environment, play, learn and create together. Many of these activities are package inclusions, like family nature walks, giant lawn games, sing-alongs, and arts and crafts. Other activities with equipment needs, like family mountain biking and paddleboard clinics, are fee-based.
Smugglers renowned programs for children ages 3-17 offer diverse activities including nature discovery, games, arts and crafts, and pool and waterslide outings. Children can choose specialty camps for a fun immersion in exciting pursuits such as outdoor adventure, disc golf, mountain biking, and outdoor survival skills.
Adults can select from a mix of activities such as guided hiking, arts and crafts classes, day trips, and health and wellness programs.
For families seeking adventure, the year-round ArborTrek Zip Line Canopy Tour for ages 8 & older is a treetop experience providing a birds-eye view of the Green Mountain forest on eight zip lines, two suspension bridges, and two rappels. For those who prefer lounging by the pool, Smugglers' offers 8 pools, including a gradual entry lagoon and the Splashville splash pad for little ones, four waterslides, and a mountainside reservoir with giant water trampoline.
Resort condominiums are sized from studios to five bedrooms with fully-equipped kitchens. The Village also features a country store, sport shop, and several restaurants.
Our SimplySmuggs vacation package, includes mountainside condominium lodging, unlimited use of the pools and waterslides, daily guided hikes and walks, and access to our teen center and the Ozone at FunZone 2.0, an indoor play center for all ages featuring inflatables such as a giant slide and obstacle course, plus miniature golf, and arcade games. If a guest participates in a Resort program for at least two days or more and doesn't have fun, the Resort will refund the entire program portion of that guest's stay.
