A little new snow

3 Mountain Logo

We received a dusting to an inch of accumulation overnight and 8 inches in the past 5 days. We have the Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift open to mid-station. We have 25 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 9 trails have been groomed for today, including Smugglers’ Alley for a total of 45 acres of freshly groomed terrain. The Parking Lot 1 loop from Lower Exhibition to the yurt and down to the Sterling Lift was also groomed last night. Last night we made snow on Midway, Meadowlark, Lower Morse LIftline, Garden Path, and the base area of Madonna. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 10 to 40 inches. Currently, it is cloudy and 26 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 15 mph. It is sunny and 34 degrees in the Village. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies, breezy, with a high of 34 degrees at the base and 31 degrees at higher elevations.
