We received 6 to 8 inches of wet, heavy snow in the past 24 hours. My trail picks of the day were Bootlegger and Upper Exhibition. It was deepest on top, and the steep pitches made it easier to get through the snow. Temperatures will be falling throughout the night. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for snow showers. Another 1 to 2 inches of accumulation is possible, with a high of 25 degrees at the base and 21 degrees at higher elevations. Currently, it is cloudy and 30 degrees at the summit of Sterling, with winds of 10 to 15 mph. Tomorrow, we plan to have Village Lift, Sterling Lift, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift, and Sir Henry’s Glider all operating. We have 22 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 17 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley and Garden Path, for a total of 74 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions will be machine groomed and variable, with average base depths of 14 to 38 inches.
