You never know when you are going to make a new friend. This is Matt, from Cleveland, Ohio, and I at the bottom of Sterling. We met today on the top of the Practice Slope where the trail is narrow and steeper, just below Black Snake. Matt had taken a little spill and lost his equipment. His equipment was above him on the trail. I grabbed his ski gear and then brought it down to Matt. Matt grabbed his poles and popped his skis back on. We then had a great time skiing down the rest of the Practice Slope. It was great to meet you Matt and I hope you enjoy your vacation here at Smuggs!
