Top to bottom on all 3 mountains

The day started a little cool, but the sun worked its magic, and we had a gorgeous day! I skied over to the upper mountains this morning. I decided to take advantage of the clear skies and do a run on Drifter for the amazing views. I stopped at a few of my favorite spots and just soaked up the beauty all around me. Skiing and riding isn’t just about sliding down a mountain. It’s also about being outside, the fresh air, and experiencing nature. I guess you could say I stopped to smell the roses. Tomorrow, we plan to have 7 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 74 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 34 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Drifter, Upper FIS, Smugglers’ Alley, Thomke’s, Snow Snake, and Hibernator, for a total of 134 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine-groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 14 to 40 inches. Currently, it is sunny and 23 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high of 36 degrees at the base and 32 degrees at higher elevations.
