Women’s and Men’s FIS Slalom

3 Mountain Logo

It was amazing to watch these athletes! They started at the top of Snake Bite and finished at the bottom of the Practice Slope. A slalom race is exciting because of the quick turns and crossblocks. These racers were pros at both!

Tomorrow, we plan to have top-to-bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 6 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 76 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 36 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Drifter, Snow Snake, Smugglers’ Alley, and skier’s right on Upper FIS. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable, with average base depths of 12 to 38 inches. Currently, it is sunny and 32 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for sunny skies early with increasing clouds, a high of 45 degrees at the base, and 40 degrees at the summit. It’s going to feel like Spring again.
