Happy holidays
Currently, it is cloudy and 28 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 15 to 25 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 18 degrees. Tomorrow we plan to have 4 lifts operating and 11 trails open. We plan to have Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, Village Lift to the top, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift open to mid-station. We plan to have 5 intermediate trails, 5 beginner trails, and 1 expert trail open tomorrow. All 11 trails will be groomed for tomorrow for a grand total of 46 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 36 inches. Tonight we plan to make snow on Lower Madonna Liftline and Mulcahy’s Link.
Uphill access
Uphill travel will be allowed tomorrow morning Tuesday, December 29th on Sterling snowmaking trails only from 5:30 am till 7:30 am. You need to be off the mountain by 8:00 am. Please use Parking Lot #3.
Garden Path
Morse and Sterling ticket sales are now closed for today. We have reached a comfortable capacity. Today we have 3 lifts operating and 11 trails open. The Village Lift is presently on wind hold. Currently, it is snowing and 21 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 15 to 25 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for a chance of snow showers early and mix late in the day with a high of 36 degrees and breezy. All 11 trails have been groomed for today that’s 44 acres of freshly groomed terrain.
Lift operations
The Village Lift is presently on wind hold. Weather permitting today we plan to have Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift open to the top. Another great day on the slopes

Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for a chance of snow showers before 11:00 am then a chance of mix with a high of 37 degrees. Tomorrow we plan to have Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift to mid-station, and the Village Lift open to the top. We have 5 intermediate trails, 5 beginner trails, and 1 expert trail open tomorrow. All 11 trails will be groomed for tomorrow that’s a grand total of 42 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Tonight we are making snow on the Practice Slope, Midway Spur, and Meadowlark.

Snowmaking and more natural snow
We are presently making snow on Garden Path and Lower Morse Liftline. We received 3 inches of new snow overnight and 5 inches in the past 24 hours. Currently, it is 14 degrees at the summit of Sterling with flurries and winds of 5 to 15 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for a chance of light snow early then sunny skies with a high of 28 degrees. Today we plan to have Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift to mid-station, and the Village Lift to mid-station. We plan to open the Village Lift at 9:00 am. We have 5 intermediate trails, 4 beginner trails, and 1 expert trail open today. All 10 trails have been groomed for today. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 12 to 36 inches.

Fresh snow
We received 1 to 2 inches of new snow today. We are presently making snow on Garden Path, Meadowlark, and the trail to Parking Lot #1. Currently, it is snowing and 16 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 5 to 10 mph. Tonight’s forecast is calling for snow showers another 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible. Tomorrow’s forecast is a slight chance of snow showers early then sunny skies with a high of 28 degrees. Tomorrow we plan to have Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift to mid-station, and the Village Lift open to mid-station. The Village Lift will have a delayed opening tomorrow morning. We plan to have 5 intermediate trails, 4 beginner trails, and 1 expert trail open tomorrow. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 36 inches.
