Great way to end the season!

Another wonderful winter season is in the books. Closing day was a powder day filled with big smiles and fresh turns! Freefall was open from the top. Upper Madonna Liftline was open from the top down to Robin’s Run work road. The Black Hole was also open! I skied Freefall three times along with Smugglers’ Alley, Upper FIS, Upper Madonna Liftline, Docs, and many fresh glade runs. Thank you to everyone who helped make this season the best it could be! We hope you have a fantastic summer and we look forward to seeing you Friday, November 25, 2022 for the first day of the 2022- 2023 season.

Last day of the 2021 – 2022 season is tomorrow

We plan to have both the Madonna I Lift and Sterling Lift operating tomorrow. We have 27 trails open with terrain for experts and intermediates. We have no novice terrain open at this time. 14 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Chilcoot, Lower FIS, Birch Run, and Black Snake for a grand total of 60 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are spring conditions and variable with average base depths of 6 to 40 inches. We received 2 inches of new snow on top of Madonna today. Tonight’s forecast is calling for 1 to 3 inches of snow on top. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for rain and mix at the base with a high of 40 degrees. On top, tomorrow were expecting another 1 to 3 inches of new snow and a high of 33 degrees. Currently, it is snowing and 28 degrees at the summit of Madonna with winds of 5 to 15 mph. Birch Run is now a trail and not a terrain park.
