It was a little cool today, but the snow was great. Our groomers have been doing a great job on the natural snow trails and snowmaking trails. Shuttle is a natural snow trail and it was groomed last night. I skied it today and it was beautiful. I made a few GS turns on the steep section carrying some speed into the dip and then it was smooth sailing the rest of the way down.
Morse Mountain ticket sales are closed for Sunday, March 7th. 3 Mountain ticket sales are still available at this time for tomorrow.
Tomorrow we plan to have 7 lifts operating, Madonna I, Madonna II, Village, Morse Highlands, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, Sir Henry’s Glider, and the Sterling T-Bar. The Sterling Lift will be closed tomorrow for a mechanical repair. We have 67 skiable trails and 49 lift accessible trails open tomorrow. 30 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including, Ruthie’s, Drifter, Dixie’s Knoll, Log Jam, and the Practice Slope for a grand total of 123 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are packed powder and machine groomed with base depths of 16 to 50 inches. Currently, it is partly cloudy and 8 degrees at the top of the Village Lift. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 16 degrees. If you park in Parking Lot 1 you can ski or ride back to your vehicle by taking Shuttle, Crossover, Treasure Run, Lower Exhibition, and the Practice Slope
