Calm before the storm

The weather is going to be a little wild tomorrow with some rain and wind. It is going to be a good day to test your gore-tex. The temperature will be rising overnight. Tomorrow’s high temperatures are 44 degrees at higher elevations and 48 degrees in the Village. These temperatures will make for some spring conditions for a day. Winter returns tomorrow night with rain and mix becoming snow as temperatures fall. Snow and sleet accumulation of less than one inch possible overnight. Friday’s forecast is snow showers with 1 to 2 inches of accumulation possible. Weather permitting tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains. Check the report tomorrow morning before heading out the door just in case. We plan to have 49 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are variable and machine groomed with average base depths of 16 to 48 inches. 13 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Magic Learning Trail and Dixie’s Knoll for a grand total of 54 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Wear something waterproof tomorrow and enjoy the soft conditions!
