We could see up to 11 inches of new snow by Thursday!

Here is the forecast from the National Weather Service

Tuesday Snow, mainly after 11 am. High near 23. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tuesday Night Snow likely before 1 am, then a chance of snow showers between 1 am and 3 am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 16. The chance of precipitation is 70%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible.

Wednesday Snow showers, mainly after 11 am. The snow could be heavy at times. High near 21. The chance of precipitation is 80%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Wednesday Night Snow showers likely, mainly before 7 pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around -8. The chance of precipitation is 60%. New snow accumulation of 1 to 3 inches possible.

Tomorrow we plan to have skiing and riding on all 3 mountains. We plan to have 4 lifts operating; Sterling, Madonna II, Sir Henry’s Wonder Carpet, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift to the summit. We have 16 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. All 16 trails will be groomed for tomorrow for a grand total of 64 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 48 inches. Tonight we plan to make snow on Lower Morse Liftline, Sam’s Run, and Dixie’s Knoll. Lower Morse Liftline will be closed tomorrow Tuesday, December 17th for snowmaking.
