Winter Wonderland

We are presently making snow on Magic Learning Trail, Meadowlark, Lower Morse Liftline, and the Riglet Park. We plan to focus our snowmaking on Morse Mountain while temperatures allow. Cold temperatures are in the forecast for Tuesday night and we plan to start making snow on Madonna Mountain. We will start with Mulcahy’s Link and Lower Madonna Liftline.

We received 3 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours. The new snow was fun to ski and ride in, I know because I did both today. I skied this morning and had a blast cruising through the new snow. I snowboarded this afternoon and played in the snow pushed to the side of the trail. I can’t wait to do both again tomorrow! Tomorrow we plan to have Sterling Lift and Sir Henry’s Glider operating. We plan to have 5 intermediate trails, 1 expert trail, and 1 beginner trail open tomorrow. All 7 trails will be groomed for tomorrow that’s 24 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and packed powder with average base depths of 18 to 48 inches. Currently, it is partly cloudy and 16 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for sunny skies with a high of 24 degrees.
