Winter Weather Advisory

Tonight: Snow, mainly after midnight. Low around 21 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches possible.

Saturday: Snow and sleet, becoming all snow after 9 am. High near 27 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 100%. New snow and sleet accumulation of 3 to 7 inches possible.

Currently, it is cloudy and 15 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Today’s forecast is calling for cloudy skies with a high of 29 degrees. Today we plan to have Sterling Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, Village Lift to the top, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift open to mid-station. We have 5 beginner trails, 5 intermediate trails, and 1 expert trail open today. We plan to more terrain open in the near future. All 11 trails have been groomed for today, that’s a grand total of 46 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 12 to 36 inches. We are presently making snow on Lower Madonna Liftline, Meadowlark, and Link. Employees are red-flagged through Sunday, January 3rd, but can ski and ride from 8:00 am till 10:00 am each day.
