3 Mountain ticket sales are now closed. We have reached our comfortable capacity. Parking lots #1, #2, and #3 are full. Parking lot #4 is still open at this time. We received 6 inches of new snow in the past 24 hours and 8 inches in the past 2 days. Today we have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 5 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 72 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are powder and packed powder with base depths of 14 to 46 inches. We received a little freezing drizzle earlier this morning, which left a thin breakable crust layer. 24 trails have been groomed for today, including Curley’s Cutback and Ruthie’s for a grand total of 114 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Currently it is cloudy and 16 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for periods of snow with another 2 to 4 inches of accumulation possible and a high of 28 degrees.
