Temperature and trail count go up tomorrow

The temperatures will start off a little cool tomorrow morning but will rise throughout the day. Tomorrow we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 5 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We plan to have 48 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 37 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Upper FIS, Drifter, Shuttle, Snake Bite, Smugglers’ Alley, Thomke’s, Curley’s Cutback, and Snow Snake for a grand total of 150 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are variable and machine groomed with average base depths of 16 to 50 inches. Currently, it is sunny and 0 degrees at the summit of Sterling. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for mostly sunny skies with a high of 36 degrees in the Village and 29 degrees at the summits.

Uphill traffic is open daily on Morse Mountain from 5:00 pm till 10:00 pm. Sterling Mountain is open daily from 5:30 am till 7:30 am. Madonna Mountain is closed at this time.
