It’s dumping

We received 5 inches of new snow this morning with more on the way. Today’s forecast is calling for periods of snow with 3 to 7 inches of accumulation possible at higher elevations and 2 to 4 inches of accumulation possible at the base. The high temperature of the day at the base will be 34 degrees and the temperature will be falling throughout the day. Today we plan to have top to bottom skiing and riding on all 3 mountains with 4 lifts operating, including the Madonna I Lift. We have 25 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are variable and machine groomed with base depths of 10 to 44 inches. 6 trails have been groomed for today for a grand total of 31 acres of freshly groomed terrain. The Magic Learning Trail, Sir Henry’s, and Howie’s Wanderer are closed for now but may open later today due to the new snow. Thomke’s and Upper FIS are open.
