Snowmaking in progress

Sir Henry’s Learning Hill will have a delayed opening today due to snowmaking and grooming operations. We plan to have it open by midday. Sterling Lift and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift are open. Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift is open to mid-station with Howie’s Wanderer and Magic Learning Trail open. We have 10 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. Surface conditions are machine groomed and loose granular with average base depths of 6 to 32 inches. We are presently making snow at the base area of the Village Lift, Lower Morse Liftline, and Sir Henry’s Learning Hill. Last night we made snow on the loop from the Practice Slope to the Upper Parking Lot and back to the Sterling Lift. Uphill travel is temporarily closed due to icy conditions. Currently, it is partly sunny and 22 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 0 to 5 mph. Today’s forecast is calling for partly sunny skies early with increasing clouds and a high of 40 degrees.
