Good morning

We received 1 to 2 inches of new snow on top overnight. Currently, it is partly sunny and 2 degrees at the summit of Sterling with wind of 10 to 20 mph. Bundle up and enjoy the nice conditions! Today’s forecast is calling for partly sunny skies with a high of 13 degrees at the base and 6 degrees at the summit. We have skiing and riding on all 3 mountains. Today we plan to have 5 lifts operating; Village Lift, Sterling Lift, Madonna II Lift, Sir Henry’s Glider, and Mogul Mouse’s Magic Lift. We have 31 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 21 out of the 31 trails have been groomed for today, including Snow Snake, Lower FIS, and Curley’s Cutback for a grand total of 82 acres of freshly groomed terrain. The lower part of Black Snake and Snake Bite will be closed today for the Vermont Cup Men GS Race. Surface conditions are machine groomed and loose granular with average base depths of 6 to 32 inches. Snowmaking operations resume today on Lower Chilcoot.
