Great day on the slopes

The temperatures bounced back to above zero today, which felt quite nice after yesterday’s cold snap. We had flurries throughout the day, giving us a trace of new snow. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for a slight chance of snow early then skies becoming partly sunny with a high of 32 degrees in the Village and 26 degrees at the summit. Tomorrow we plan to have skiing and riding on all 3 mountains. We plan to have 5 lifts operating; Madonna II, Sterling, Village, Mogul Mouse’s Magic, and Sir Henry’s Glider. We have 29 trails open with terrain for all ability levels. 19 trails will be groomed for tomorrow, including Smugglers’ Alley, Snow Snake, and Lower FIS for a grand total of 86 acres of freshly groomed terrain. Surface conditions are machine groomed and variable with average base depths of 6 to 32 inches. We are presently making snow on Playground, Lower Madonna Liftline, and McPherson’s. Currently, it is cloudy and 19 degrees at the summit of Sterling with winds of 10 to 20 mph. Tomorrow’s forecast is calling for a slight chance of snow early then skies becoming partly sunny with a high of 32 degrees in the Village and 26 degrees at the summit.
